We strive to:
Identify needs early and respond swiftly, ensuring no child is overlooked
Work in partnership with families, listening carefully to their voices and experiences
Adapt teaching with care and expertise, so every learner can access a broad and ambitious curriculum
Use an assess–plan–do–review approach, continually refining support to meet individual needs
Promote pupil voice, encouraging our children to understand themselves and advocate with confidence
Foster a culture of belonging, where difference is respected and celebrated
Our school has a SEND team which comprises of our SENCo, Mrs Alison Turner, our Headteacher and Assistant SENCo, Mr Graeme Wright and Assistant SENCo, Mrs Laura White. We have a group of parents and carers who have formed the SEND Matters group to recognise the importance of partnership in SEND. We are really proud of the focus that they bring, discussions they have and suggestions they make with the school - we continue to welcome more members to this growing group!
